Over the last few months LACA has been working with online payment provider, ParentPay to complete market research with parents on school meals and daily life issues. The report is now available for you to download.
As well as the overall results you will see comparisons between Primary and Secondary and male and female pupils and regional findings.
School caterers will be pleased to see that school meals got a thumbs up from 89% of parents. The report also revealed:-
- 97% want children to learn to cook at school
- 81% want to be able to pay for school meals online
- 12.9% of those entitled to free school meals are not eating them
- 80% of parents said they wanted more information about what their children had for lunch
